The repair and re-tuning of duduks
There are cases when relatives want to do something nice and give gift duduk. But not everyone knows where to find a high-quality duduk and buys in online stores that do not always sell professional duduk, and sell souvenirs as professional duduk. This leads to the fact that the gift does not meet the desired result.
Then, in order not to offend relatives, the person who was given a duduk is looking for a way out of the situation.

I can help.

Duduk is sent to me for a test. If it has a low tone and a normal timbre, I will save it.

But unfortunately, not all specimens can be saved.

That's what happened with this duduk. But luck smiled and duduk was saved.

Here's what happened:
The restoration of an old rare duduk of master Karlen.
Oh yeah… It has seen its days.
Initially it had an incomprehensible tuning, somewhere between B flat and A. Former owners tried to pick and poke into it… They tried to really pick into it, and have done some damage there…
Eventually, I have completely re-tuned all the holes there and corrected the inner channel.
All in all, that duduk came out great. The perfect B flat, and perfect A for the reed.
I love it when the elderlies regain their youth and the second breath again.
I love my work.

A nameless baby… The problem was that it had the tuning which I could not even understand.
I had to completely re-tune it.
What was important is that its' wood material is very good. That duduk will live for a long time.
